The humans have been wiped out - gone, erased even - from humanity. A fatal, air borne, mutated, unstoppable disease has killed off the entire human race, one by one. This disease has no affect on animals and thus, the animals slowly but steadily regain this blue planet as their own. With no maintence, the buildings begin to crumble and the machinaries rust with age. The zoos' fences decay and the animals contained break free. House pets escape their dead masters' houses and get a taste of the outside world, where there is no more population control. The world has gone to the dogs. Or should I say - animals. |
